A visit from Nanny Rose

At the start of December Saoirse finally got to meet her Nanny Rose from Dublin. They had a whole month to bond. They went on walks and and did lots of hanging out in the house too. I was able to get some other things done and run errands and wow, it was a freedom that I'd forgotten about! We had a great visit and Saoirse received a whole suitcase full of gifts from Ireland. Thank you so much to all of our family and friends in Ireland! How generous and sweet of you! Also, Nanny spoiled her rotten with some lovely gifts including a blanket and a hat and some bibs with Saoirse's name embroidered on them-for those Canadians who can't spell her name! ha ha We also have the perfect outfit for her first Paddy's Day coming up in March. All of my blog entries start with the most recent and work backwards. It is just easier that way, so this first photo was Nanny and Saoirse before taking Rose to the airport which was soooo sad! Can't wait until August!
