Saoirse Ann Walsh!! 7.7 lbs October 26th 6:30AM

So, as you can imagine, life has been busy!! So, I'm only getting to the blog now! I am doing it quickly before Saoirse gets hungry again so I may have doubled up on some of the photos. I don't have time do write a commentary on all the photos, but hopefully they explain themselves. Saoirse is doing great. She's gaining weight like crazy and we've been crazy about her! We had 3 weeks off together and this week Wally/Derek has gone back to work. Its been challenging figuring out when to shower, eat breakfast and go to the bathroom, but I still wouldn't trade if for anything.

37 weeks

Officially at the "fully baked" and "it could happen at any time now" stage! We went off for Saturday night to Painter's Lodge in Campbell River. They had an incredible, end-of-season special on, so we got a night in a beautiful waterfront room and a 3 course meal for CHEAP:) We jumped on it and had some well earned and needed R&R. All is still going well with our little Wallaby. Fun to anticipate when the babe is going to make its grand exit and whether we are going to have a girl or a boy:) Here are a couple of photos from last weekend which was also the full moon! We were wondering if that might have made things happen early...

33 weeks!

We're on the homestretch...October 23rd is not long away now! Of course, it could be later or even earlier. All is going well. This photo was taken a few days ago on a hike at Mt. Washington. I didn't think I was able for more than 20 minutes total, but I think it was a good hour and a half! Yay me:) Wallaby (the baby) has been moving around lots! Probably more than ever over the last week. Wally has felt it kicking his back when we're spooning in bed, so that's been pretty cool. I don't think I could ever get sick of the feeling of the kicking and tapping from the inside, so exciting! So far, I've only had heartburn occasionally and a bit of milk seems to solve it and I've still been managing to sleep really well! I know, I know, enjoy it while I can:) Hope this finds everyone happy and well. More updates to follow so stay tuned...
